In April 2008 Anhui Biochem United Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd invested RMB 130.7million to purchase in buyout Anhui Golden Land Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd located at Hi-Tech Development Zone in Hefei, to set up Anhui Biochem (Bio-Pharma) Co., Ltd, for R&D and manufacture of the finished pharmaceutical products (FPPs) for hepatitis B and HIV/AIDS in the first line and second line. The registered capital of Anhui Biochem United Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd comes to RMB 510 million, and the total site area is 205,128m2(308 acres), and APIs manufacture base covers 110,556 m2(166 acres); FPPs manufactory covers 77,256 m2(116 acres); R&D base covers 17,316 m2(26 acres).
